Located in the IV Region which holds significant world class gold deposits from the major international mining companies. El Indio, Pelambres, Andacollo, Tambillo, San Geronimo, Talcuna, Tambo de Oro, Punitaqui just to name the biggest. As this is an important mining area in Chile the Government raw mineral processing plant and concentrate/dore (gold bars) purchasing office is less than 130klm from Keyla. . As well as numerous independent plants offering processing/toll mining plants at a per ton fee.
